Pontifell on Bookends

“Bookends are meant to perform a real function,” Luke Ives Pontifell says of Thornwillow Press “When a book is allowed to lean on an angle like a flying buttress, to keep the rest of the shelf of books from falling over, it becomes vulnerable. Eventually, the book will deform and become permanently lopsided, the spine is likely to break and crack, and the pages are then likely to fall out.” From NY Times article

Luke has inspired me to sell bookends on Kerut Home.  Stay tuned!
